            γ-Polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA), also known as natto gum or polyglutamic acid, is a biopolymer produced by microbial fermentation. γ-PGA is a viscous substance that was first discovered in Natto. The γ-PG structure is a high molecular polymer in which a glutamic acid unit forms a peptide bond through an α-amino group and a γ-carboxy group, and has the advantages of superior adsorption and non-toxicity.

    1, Product performance

    (1) Super water retention and moisturizing ability. The γ-PGA molecule contains more than 1000 super-strong hydrophilic carboxylic acid groups, which can fully maintain the moisture in the soil, enter the bulkiness and porosity of the viscous soil, and improve the fertility and water retention capacity of the sandy soil.

    (2) Promote the absorption of phosphate fertilizer and trace elements in soil. γ-PGA has multiple anionic functional groups, which can effectively prevent the combination of sulfate, phosphate, oxalate, carbonate and trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron in chemical fertilizers, avoiding the formation of low solubility salts and precipitation. The effect is to make the crops more effectively absorb various trace elements in the soil, promote the development of crop roots and strengthen disease resistance.

    (3) Balance the acidity and alkalinity of the soil. It has excellent buffering capacity for acid and alkali, which can effectively balance soil pH value and avoid acid soil and soil plate formation caused by long-term use of chemical fertilizer.

    (4) Chelate heavy toxic metals in the soil to alleviate soil toxicity. It has an excellent chelating effect on equal heavy metals and prevents crops from absorbing too much toxic heavy metals in the soil. PGA liquid fertilizer can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, avoid soil acidification, strengthen farmland fertility, and maintain the ecological environment, thereby increasing crop root development and harvest.

    (5) Increase efficiency and reduce production. Polyglutamic acid is a polyanionic polymer that can improve the cation exchange capacity of the soil, accumulate nutrients in the soil, and counteract the loss of fertilizer efficiency caused by factors such as leaching, denitrification and evaporation, and achieve the effect of increasing fertilizer efficiency.
